Savannah District Rally and Conference – Come join other United Methodists from Savannah in worship at Asbury Memorial UMC this Sunday, May 5 at 4:00pm.  Rev. Creed Henshaw (retiring from Wesley Monumental this year) will be preaching.  Following worship, we will have a District Conference where we will hear a presentation on a plan to reduce the number of districts in South Georgia which will be voted on at Annual Conference in June. 

ITS TIME! Our VBS is in the planning stages and we need your help!  If you can sing, lead a group in recreation, help with crafts, read a skit, shepherd classes to activities or just cheer us on, please contact Larry Stricklin (larreddo@aol.com) to volunteer your services. We will be having a planning meeting Wednesday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. following RECHARGE.

Next Sunday is Mother’s Day and to celebrate we will be taking up a special offering for Magnolia Manor, a United Methodist Ministry for Senior Adults in South Georgia. The League of the Good Samaritan, the fundraising arm of Magnolia has a mission statement that no one will ever be turned away from lack of funds.  Please help out with this legacy of love for our seniors.
